Rasha Goel was born to entertain on stage and television. From a young age, she used the microphone for family videos to school projects and served as the host for simulated newscasts!
But it wasn’t always lights, camera, and action!
Typical to a South Asian household, Rasha
started off as a Pharmacy Major. However,
her heart was to be in front of the camera,
which eventually led her to graduating with
a Bachelors from UCLA in Communication
Studies – Mass Media. Since then, Rasha
became an International Correspondent/TV Host
covering breaking news, red carpet events, press
junkets, high profile events, and much more.
Her credits include CNN, ESPN, TV Guide Channel,
Times Now, Warner Bros., and Disney. In addition
to being a presenter at the Local Emmys, She has
also received an Emmy Nomination for producing
a documentary titled "End Homelessness
– Know, Believe, Act". She recently launched her own
show "Tinseltown Talkies" which is webcasted
on an NBC affiliate. In addition, she manages a
nationally reputed Bollywood Dance Company
that earned credits on mainstream shows such as
the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ellen Degeneres
Show, Cupcake Wars, Disney to name a few.
Besides hosting, her talent led her to acting opportunities in television and cross-over films. Rasha is a co-producer of a web series titled "CHA DO", voicing the comedy and difficulties of growing up and being part of an immigrant family in the US.
