Is there any bollywood celebrity that you would want to step inside the shoes of for one day? If so, who and why?

Aamir Khan!!

I love his precision and the perfection he gives to any project he is involved in. I admire that he doesn’t follow the crowd and stands up for what he believes in. I would want to experience his thought process and how he goes about living his daily life. I find him so intriguing!

What inspired and brought to life Cha Do?
Is there a character you feel you relate to the most in the show?
A meeting over pancakes at The Griddle in Hollywood was the birth of “Cha Do”! “Cha Do” which means ‘give me tea’ is a webseries that I created with two other producers – Mona Barkat and Lorna Clarke. We felt that there was a need to create an outlet for South Asian actors while sharing the fun and colorful side of the Indian culture integrating into a Western society. We also wanted to break away from the typical South Asian stereotypes. One of my favorite characters is Sal – he is lovable, funny and just fighting against the norm! He’s an average IndianAmerican guy who loves hip hop and wants to be a DJ instead of going to medical school – I think I relate to him because he’s chosen to pursue

a career off the beaten path.
