OBJECTIVES
The following objectives are set for Session 1:
At the end of the session the children should

feel welcome in the group;

understand why they are participating in the group;

understand why group rules are necessary and have created their own group rules; and

feel comfortable with the facilitator and other children in the group

be willing to communicate and participate; and

engage in a trusting relationship

Blindfolds and identification of obstacles for the 'Blind walk with directions'

Cardboard pieces (5x10 cm) for each group member and coloured pens for name card
