SESSION 24:
FAMILY CELEBRATION
'LET'S CELEBRATE LIFE'
OBJECTIVES
The following objectives are set for Session 24:
At the end of the session the mother-child pair should
-
have discussed the future;
-
have received a certificate as recognition of participation;
-
have said their farewells to the rest of the group members;
-
understand that the group sessions' goal was to develop their strengths and that they all
have the potential to achieve their goals; and
-
have had fun.
PREPARATION
Be prepared for the session. Decide who will hand out the certificates to which group. Leave
enough time to write the names of the group members on their certificates. Write down positive
comments of every mother and child that can be read out aloud during the handing out of the
certificates.
MATERIALS
The following will be needed for this session:

Paper and pen to take the register and for notes on the session

Invoice book and money for travelling expenses
-
Certificates for mothers and children
-
Black Koki pen for writing names on the pre-printed certificates
-
Blankets for mothers and children to sit on
-
Food, cake and juice for party
-
Music and CD player for party
