A Growing Community
Keystone's First
Community Fair
F
un, food and family – the ideal combi-
nation for a beautiful sunny day in Bei-
jing. And Keystone’s first annual spring
fair brought all of these together on 21
May 2016. Kids lined up at the human
gerbil ball section barely containing
their excitement at the prospect of rolling around
in a giant inflatable ball. Soon, adults joined this
popular queue too. There were other games like
cricket, dart-the-balloon, bouncy castles, and
134
more. Over 1600 people were also drawn in by
the many stalls that sold items ranging from trin-
kets, toys, to jewellery, books, flowers, carpets and
so on. With support from the PTA, guests were
also able to enjoy mouthwatering home-cooked
food and sweet treats that were available at sev-
eral stalls. Close to RMB30000 was raised at the
fair, all of which was donated to the Little Adop-
tion Shop.
