Waves L u Yongzhong is a renowned Chinese folk artist, member of the Shanghai Artists Association and vested with the title of Shanghai Intangible Cultural Inheritor. His work is a dedication to peasant life. He has organized solo shows in China, India, France, and other countries. His works are widely collected by art galleries in China and abroad. His painting, The Idyll, is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest peasant painting. From 25 May to 5 June, 2015 Keystone Academy had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Lu and his collection titled, Dreams of Homeland. The artist also presented two paintings to the school, each an artistic representation of the school’s name in Chinese – Ding Shi.
