RAPPER: DON P KeyLine: At what moment did you know that you wanted to be in the industry? Don P: I've been loving music as soon as I could walk and talk. My big mama used to say "Don Don you a natural performer and you're gone be somebody one day". R.I.P. Big Mama, I miss her. I guess I always felt like it was my destiny to make music. It's what I love to do. KeyLine: How would describe your musical style? Don P: My style is “”Stoney. But really I don't really have a particular style. I just hear the music and I speak my mind. I say what's really on my mind and in my heart at the time. KeyLine: What can fans expect from next project entitled "The Smokin Odyssey"? Don P: Well if you a stoner like me it's gonna all make sense soon as u turn it on. I'm different and I make music for the other side. The ones who never had nothing but, want it all and aren't scared to get out there and grind to make it happen! You gone hear some fun stuff and some features I did with my some of my favorite artists like The Jacka (R.I.P,) called "Moolah" and D'Wayne Wiggins (Tone Tony Toni) we got a slapper called "So Good". My folks B-legit, Spice 1 got down as well. I even got some booty shaking music on there with the homie from the HBK Gang. KeyLine: I know you've worked with several different major artists such as B-Legit and Spice 1; is there any other artist you would love to work with? Don P: Sure I already worked with a lot of the top Bay Area artist like Keyshia Cole and E-40, but Richie Rich and Too Short would be cool to collab with. Outside the bay, if I had the opportunity I would like to work with YG. It's a trip how bruh keep his stuff gangsta but, he still have fun with it! That's tight! Down south, I like Young Jeezy, because he got a dope flow. On the east coast, I like everybody in Wu Tang haha! Oh and 50 Cent because he's an OG and he still got flow. Plus what he did to Game was epic... #goals KeyLine: Do you have any other projects we should be on the lookout for? Don P: Yeah I got a few new waves in the mix. We are working on the @StonerMob project right now. I'm also working on "The Smokin Odyssey 2" and a few other surprises in the mix. Don P: I just wanna say “Thank You” to everybody who bout the album and come to my shows. We're just getting started. In a life full of rainy days, we're just looking for some sunshine. 100 FOLLOW @DONPOFFICAL www.keylineproductions.com
