National Honor Society students at Timber Creek High School wrapped gifts for Hope for the Holidays, helping over 32 TCHS families. s m a r g r e t #La January 31 was the 100th Day of School, and students across the District had fun celebrating in many different ways. The annual Future Chefs Competition, hosted by Child Nutrition Services and Sodexo, teaches students about the importance of healthy eating while honing their culinary skills. KISD General Counsel Amanda Bigbee read to Eagle Ridge Elementary students for World Read Aloud Day. The Keller High School Band had a special invitation for Dr. Westfall and Mr. McDaniel. They said YES to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade-proposal! Basswood Elementary celebrated their designation as a Blue Zones School; they arecommitted to teaching students how to lead longer, happier lives and make smart choices about staying healthy. 20 Dr. Westfall entertained this year’s Lone Star Littles by reading campus favorite, “The Book With No Pictures.”
