n January, the Keller ISD Education
Foundation awarded a record amount of
monetary grants totaling $71,787 to 25 Keller
ISD educators for innovative educational
projects and programs in 2018.
Award recipients were presented with
their grants when Education Foundation
board members, District administrators,
corporate sponsors, and the Keller ISD high
schools’ drumlines formed a celebratory
“grant patrol” and traveled from campus to
campus to surprise the teachers with news
they had been awarded the funding.
