This dual honours degree enables you to combine accounting with another subject, extending the skills you can bring into the workplace. At Keele, you’ll study accounting along with your choice of many other disciplines across the humanities, sciences and social sciences. You’ll develop the skills needed for a rewarding career in accountancy or the wider corporate, public or charity sectors. Besides learning subject specific skills and the professional practice of accountants, this programme will provide a wide range of transferable skills which are highly valued by all employers. You’ll use a range of tools, including industry standard Sage software, to prepare, analyse and interpret accounting data. You might consider adding an industrial placement year between the second year and third year.
