Undergraduate Prospectus 2017
We’re here
for you
You may already have questions or concerns about starting
university. Or things may come up while you’re here – maybe
to do with money, health or wellbeing (after all, life happens).
Whatever your worry, we’re here to help and support you.
We offer a wide range of services to provide information,
get you back on track or simply be alongside you.
Student Services Centre
This is a one-stop-shop for anything to do with being
a student, whether that’s a concern about money,
an exam query, a personal issue, an accommodation
problem or coming to study here from another country.
Our staff are on hand to offer professional support
and guidance whenever and however you need it.

ASK (Advice and Support at Keele)
ASK is a great source of information, advice and
representation. Even better: it’s free, confidential,
impartial and non-judgemental. ASK staff can
advise you on all sorts of things, including academic
issues and university regulations, welfare benefits,
consumer issues, employment, debt, fees/finance,
immigration/visas, local information, grants, housing,
loans, personal matters and more.
Disability and Dyslexia support
Our Disability and Dyslexia support team provides
ongo ing, holistic support for individual student needs.
If you have a disability and are thinking of applying to
Keele, please contact us as soon as possible. We can
arrange a visit here to assess your requirements and
show you our accommodation (there are specially
adapted ground-floor rooms and kitchens for those
who need them). You can also have a chat with one
of our disability advisors about your personal and
academic support requirements.
ASK is a member of the UK Council for International
Student Affairs (UKCISA), authorising us to provide
immigration advice. ASK is also a member of National
Association of Student Money Advisers and is regulated
by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Nightline
We’re very proud of the way our students
support one another throughout their university
experience. Nightline is Keele’s student-led
information and listening service, offering
confidential support from other students by
phone, Skype, text, email or online chat. It’s
available to all students, from 9pm to 3am every
night during term-time.
