Media, Communications and Culture and Business Management Why study this course? You’ll learn how organisations operate and achieve success, including the way in which communications techniques and working with the media can help meet their objectives. This dual honours programme invites you to study an equal balance of subjects relating to business management and media, communications and culture. You’ll pay particular attention to where these disciplines overlap, placing your studies in a highly contemporary context. You’ll be concerned with how businesses operate (such as marketing, finance and human resource management) as well as how they interface externally with social, cultural and political contexts. You’ll explore how businesses communicate with their audiences, and how they interact with, and even help to create, aspects of culture. By the time you graduate, you will have become a thoughtful critical media practitioner with the skills needed to manage production processes.
