Pharmacy
The School of Pharmacy was established
in 2006 when the university launched its
new and innovative Pharmacy programme.
Our MPharm programme is designed for
those wishing to start their career in pharmacy.
In 2015, we introduced an additional new
degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Technology
and Business. This exciting forward-thinking
course is designed for those who would like a
career in the pharmaceutical industry, whether
in research, manufacturing, or marketing.
In 2015 we opened our brand new clinical skills suite, which
provides state of the art facilities for both undergraduate
and postgraduate teaching. The facility enables technology
enhanced learning for all aspects of the MPharm programme
using the KAVE (Keele Active Virtual Environment). This is
where students can experience the human body, proteins
and clinical practice in an immersive 3D simulator.
Keele offers excellent links with the local health service and
the pharmaceutical industry; dedicated teaching facilities;
modern, well-equipped laboratories and analytical facilities;
an enthusiastic, multidisciplinary teaching team; and a
stimulating research environment.
