Computational Intelligence II explores selected research led topics
at the forefront of the rapidly evolving computational intelligence
field. On completion of this module you will be well placed to pursue
further research in industry or in academia, for example as a PhD
student.
Students interested in teaching or training as a career can gain
an early experience of teaching in a school or college, subject to
interview and a secured place, by choosing the double weighted
module Computing in Education.
Fourth year
MComp students undertake a large (double weighted) individual
project in the second semester, enabling them to tackle an advanced
level problem under the supervision of a member of staff. You will

of cutting edge computer science research topics.
Statistical Techniques for Data Analytics provides an advanced
understanding of methods and techniques involved in the analysis
