Course type Teaching and assessment Single honours Biomedical Science is a laboratory-based subject and our course has a strong practical element. Laboratory classes are held in state of the art teaching laboratories and provide hands-on experience of modern analytical techniques used in routine diagnosis and research. Entry requirements BBB/ABC The course is delivered by a dedicated team of enthusiastic academics, visiting clinicians and researchers. You are exposed to a wide variety of teaching styles to suit all needs. Lectures are supplemented with tutorials and seminars. In-course assessment is designed to develop a range of core skills such as essay writing, critical thinking, reflective writing, problem-solving and communication styles including posters and oral presentations.
