Teaching and assessment
Most teaching in the first two years is through lectures and practical
classes, with occasional field activities, tutorials and student-led
seminars. In the final year, lab work is normally confined to projects,
and more use is made of seminars and tutorials. The majority
of modules have both examination and in-course assessment
components in the ratio of 3:1, but project and dissertation work
an
