NATURAL SCIENCES Medicinal Chemistry Overview The search for new drugs to treat a wide range of human ailments such as heart disease and cancer remain a great challenge to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Medicinal Chemistry course at Keele provides you with an understanding of the complex biological and chemical problems involved in the design and synthesis of novel therapeutic agents.
