HUMANITIES Media, Communications and Culture and Film Studies Overview Media and Film studies are the study of communication which, in various forms, has become central to every aspect of our lives. In this exciting and popular degree programme you will get the opportunity to produce cultural artefacts of your own through our series of practical modules ranging from the art of photography, news and production to producing video and magazines online.  We also provide opportunities to take work placements through our links to the creative and media industries.
