You will be assigned to a ‘learning set’ with a tutor/facilitator and
sets will meet regularly for timetabled discussions about current
events, core module content and personal development. The
programme will include an intensive summer school to prepare for
the research project.

Assessment is by mixed method and will include individual essays,
peer review projects, seen and unseen examinations and individual
and group presentations.
Good to know
There is an option to spend a year studying
at one of our overseas partner institutions
between the second and third years.
A further option is to take a research-focused
fourth year at Keele leading to the award of a
master’s qualification.
