In the final year, you will study specialist areas and take the
following core module:
The Employment Relationship and the Law addresses the changing
role, values and limits of the law in industrial relations and human
resource management.
You will then choose either of the following two core modules:
International Human Resource Management analyses central issues
and themes that dominate contemporary debate and research in
the policy diffusion of human resource management practices in
transnational corporations and the management of employees
across national boundaries.
Discrimination and Equal Opportunities at Work examines the
evidence for labour market inequalities, offers an understanding
of the debates surrounding the causes of these inequalities and
assesses the usefulness of existing devices that have been used
as remedies for t
