ETHICS Medical Ethics and Law Overview For more than 25 years, Keele’s MA in Medical Ethics and Law has offered an opportunity for students to undertake in-depth study of the ethical and legal issues that arise in health care and related fields. Taught by the Centre for Professional Ethics and the School of Law, the programme aims to deepen your understanding of healthcare ethics and law, and to enhance your ability to think systematically about the moral and legal issues that healthcare professionals and those involved in healthcare management and policy may face in the course of their work. It can also provide a foundation for pursuing further study at doctoral level. The programme can be taken full or part-time and is available to intercalating medical students.
