“The internship experience has proved
to be essential in starting a career
in a very busy job market. I have
developed my business relation skills
and professional conduct, as well as
broadening my experience of areas
I had limited knowledge of before,
such as social media. The internship has
provided opportunities for international
travel which again have strengthened
my personal development.”
What do you remember
about Keele?
I remember working in the Shelton Laboratory and,
in particular, working in the glove box where many
of my novel compounds were made. I enjoyed
working on a variety of experiments involving
the synthesis and properties of novel imidazole
derivatives. The staff at Keele were very friendly
and extremely helpful, and I very much enjoyed
studying at this university.
How would you describe
Keele in one word?
Brilliant!

“Keele Internships gives both graduates
and companies the ideal opportunity to
trial a new role within the company.
For me, this internship was fantastic.
I have learnt about the company from
the ground roots up and it has also
given me the opportunity to progress
to a full management role.”
