POSTGRADUATE PROSPECTUS 2016 Research routes Research Institute for Science and Technology in Medicine (ISTM) The Institute for Science and Technology in Medicine (ISTM) bridges the interface between new advances in basic science and clinical practice. It successfully integrates Keele University’s biomedical research strengths across the Faculties of Health and Natural Sciences. The institute aims to improve patient health by applying knowledge gained from basic science to develop insights into the causes and treatment of disease.
