He agrees and I run down the hall to my room to gather a few things. I grab five shirts, jeans, bras & underwear, my toothbrush, a pair of sweats, a nice dress (because you just never know!) and the heels from last night. I stuff all of this into my backpack and I reassure Andy that’s everything I need. Andy tells me we can go to his parents’ house in Harrisburg because his parents are off vacationing in Europe. Damn, that must be nice, to just go to Europe, or anywhere, for the hell of it, because you can, because you have the money and the time. Because you love someone and you made the adventure possible, you took the time off work and cleared your schedule and picked up a book of useful translations.
