REVEREND LANCE - featured artwork "Aladdin Sane" (partial view)
"...When I was 3 or 4, my favorite song ever was 'Starman' from the Ziggy Stardust album. I used to
demand it (as well as a 4 year old could demand anything... which is probably thrillingly well) every bath
time, like clockwork, played on a little handheld cassette player sitting on the toilet lid.
When I was 6, my father took me to see 'Labyrinth,' and it's been my favorite movie ever since. I
rented it so many times that I wore out the M.C.Esher scene by rewinding it and playing it and
rewinding it again. Into my teens, I did the same thing, sitting by the TV with my guitar in order to learn
the notes. I bought a used copy of 'Outside' when I was 16 at CDWarehouse on a whim, and it blew my
mind.
It's hard to imagine a world without Mr.Bowie, but here it is.
'And the stars look very different today.' <3
