Both activities are linked though because photography is an expensive activity and my job enables me to support my position as an author-photographer. What is your earliest memory connected to photography or a particular photograph? My first camera, a Pentax ME Super. Even though in those days digital technology did not exist and buying films was rather costly because of their development, I would take it with me almost everywhere. If you encounter a nervous model, how do you relax him/her? (Laugh) I think I am more nervous than my models. I'm afraid the photo shoot goes wrong, of wasting my time and my model's, but when harmony has arisen between the model and the photograph and each one knows what he/she has to do, nervousness disappears to make room for the excitement to do nice things together. Have you experienced funny incidents during photoshoots? Can you share one of them? Many... Some of them were funny, some others were not. One of my models had to be shot in a river. When he got out of the water, he had leeches all over his body and hair. The idea of a leech in his ear was worrying him. On the contrary, a flash exploded only 20 inches away from one of my models' face. No harm done, but it shows how important it is to have some safe and professional equipment. What is your favorite photograph by someone else, and why? I don't have a favorite photograph. I like everything that touches me, directly or indirectly.
