Tell us a bit about your poetry book 'A Sinner's Philosophy'. Does it include works from different time periods, or did you set out to do this book especially? 'A Sinner's Philosophy' is a collected work of different periods. I tried to choose works that showed my rise and fall in life, and to ultimately find love; true love. Your poetry goes from truthful observations to visions of romance to turmoil and anguish and wrestling with the demons. To what extend are your poems autobiographical? I would have to say that a very high percentage of what I write is autobiographical. A few, though, are merely something that caught my eye. Do you feel writing has helped you overcome things? Yes, absolutely. I feel that writing is one of the best therapies. I always feel a calm come over me when I've written one of my darker poems.
