Yeroglyph is a new menswear brand based in the UK, founded by Pierre-Yves Monnerville. While
the brand is destined to expand to garments in the future, for now it offers high quality
accessories such as beanies and scarves. The designs speak of us all, and they radiate spirituality

First of all, thank you for doing this interview. Can you tell
me something about your background?
I'm from Martinique, a French island in the Caribbean but
was born in Paris. I've always wanted to live abroad so I'm
now based in Brighton on the coast, south of London. I'm
not trained as a fashion designer but I've studied
photography and cinema and recently graduated as a
product designer. I read many books about fashion
however.
How did you come to create the brand Yeroglyph?
Making clothes has always been an interest of mine. I
remember my brother and I had a collection of Star Wars
action figures and I liked making dresses for Princess
Leia. Although when I was a child all I seemed to see in
