KHMER KITCHEN pho t o : s avo ng vo euk Cambodian SWEET & SOUR FISH Prepare 25 minutes Cook 10 minutes Serves 2 p h o t o : h t tp s ://fli c.kr/p /r9s Qc pho t o : http s ://fli c.kr/p /m ZFPvz 1 pound grilled white fish 3 cloves sliced garlic • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro • 1 tbsp spring onion • 1 cup chopped onion • 1 cup chopped pineapple • 1 red chili pepper • 1 tbsp chopped ginger • 1 tablespoon of Khmer Sauce (recipe on opposite page) • • Mama Sovong’s Khmer Sauce Prepare 5 minutes Cook 0 minutes Serves 2 or more 1 cup fish sauce 1 garlic to taste (open the clove and leave to soak) • 1/2 cup hot chilis cut very small (careful!) • 1 tablespoon of lime juice • 1 tablespoon of sugar • • Method Mix all ingredients together into a bottle and shake it up!
