Forming technology forms an integral part of manufacturing in many industries and has contributed
in the development of many new processing technologies, processing methods, machineries, tools
and solutions to design and fabricate end products/finished goods. To address the latest trends
developments and research in forming technology. IMTMA organises International Seminar on
Forming Technologies a day before the start of IMTEX Forming, which is held every even year.
The seminar focuses on Metal Forming Processes, New Materials, Tooling & Design and Emerging
Technologies and brings together the fraternity of forming technology on a common platform to
discuss related issues.

programme for imparting knowledge
on the machine tool industry for young
engineers during IMTEX Forming 2018 at
BIEC. Students from both mechanical and
electrical engineering streams can avail this
opportunity to gather more knowledge of the
opportunities in store for them in the manufacturing industry. By interacting
with industry experts they will get to understand how machine tool industry
helps in industry growth and the role of an engineer in the manufacturing
industry.

is continuously taking several
initiatives and offering a platform
for Indian Academia institutions to participate in its prestigious
IMTEX - Indian Machine Tool Exhibitions every year. At IMTEX
FORMING 2018, IMTMA provides an opportunity for Indian
Academic / R&D Institutions to show case their R&D capabilities
in Metal working field. This participation will be through display of four posters and product demonstration from each
institution. IMTMA will provide the display space to selected institution/s free of charge.
