Fluid Power applications included in MDA are integral part of construction equipments . There is hardly any construction equipment where Hydraulic Pumps and motors are not applied . Global usages of all type of construction equipment are on the rise . Therefore , overall field population of construction equipment is constantly moving skyward , as the demand for all types of Hydraulic Pumps Valves and Motors .
Over last two national Five-year plans , the growth in usage has been upward . This means more and more opportunity for MDA product market . The 11th five-year plan ( 2007-12 ) accumulated $ 428 Billion construction equipment products sold in the Indian market .
The three yearly World ’ s largest , construction equipment show ( CONEXPO ) just took place at Las Vegas , USA in March 2017 , followed by the annual Bauma show at Shanghai , China .
India will be hosting the two-yearly construction equipment show , on Dec 12 thru 17 , 2017 at Bangalore , hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industries ( CII ) and the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association ( ICMEA ). Numerous Fluid Power Product manufacturers will showcase the products and services in this trade show .
The Indian construction equipment market is growing constantly , to meet with the industrial growth and infrastructural improvements . Over last two national Fiveyear plans , the growth in usage has been upward . This means more and more opportunity for MDA product market . The 11th five-year plan ( 2007-12 ) accumulated $ 428 Billion construction equipment products sold in the Indian market . This figure is likely to double in the current 12th five-year plan ( 2012-17 ). Correspondingly , Hydraulic product user base market will grow massively .
The Bangalore construction equipment trade show is the largest of its kind in Asia . This year there are about 1000 + exhibitors participating in this event , with about 270 from abroad . There are about 12 different countries participating in 2017 trade show .
Construction equipment market in India grew by 30 % during Aug-Sept 2017 , over last year similar period . About 68,000-construction equipment were sold in India , during fiscal 2017 . This is continuously increasing the aftermarket Motion , Drive and Automation product opportunity in India .
