Please tell us about the new products launched by Permco in 2017

We have unveiled Sectional Valves , Direction Control Valves , Monoblock Valves , Proportional Control Valves . These valves are designed to be packaged and coupled with Permco Gear Pumps and Motors along with some of our ancillary products .

We are very excited about the new products coming to play and our innovation team is working on soon to be launched newer products .

We are told that you have big plans for India , please elaborate

We are taking a very big initiative in India . We have chosen very good partners to work with . They know the market in India . We are now integrating our global OEM customer base with our new friends in India so that we can make maximum use of our global networking strategy . We are looking at big things in India and are excited about the growth that we see coming in India .

What are the challenges faced by the Hydraulic Industry today ?

Along the product development radar , some of the challenges that we see today on a global basis relate more to the labour side of the equation .

Our challenge going forward is in finding young hydraulic professionals who want to make a career in the hydraulic world , finding and inducting them into the Permco program on global basis . Labour and talent base is the biggest challenge

Hydraulic world is challenged by energy efficiency and sustainability . It is a part of mission statement of almost all companies today .

We have spent a lot of time looking at systems and the efficiency of our systems and the sustainability of our footprint . While we are in the Carbon Business , so to speak , we are acutely aware that the future generations will be relying upon our abilities to innovate technology to make systems more efficient to save energy and reduce the green house emissions and the Carbon footprint .

At Permco and in the Hydraulic World specifically , when we talk about efficiencies we talk about ‘ Wasted Horsepower ’ .
