Mr. Kamruddin

the most trusted brand in the power conditioning industry. A journey composed
of a lot of hard-work, passion, commitment and dedication has not only witnessed
tremendous highs but also significant challenges that have been overcome.
An original and innovative approach to manufacturing has led Servokon to specialize in a modular and highly diversified range
of products including stabilizers, transformers, UPSs, and Inverters. Servokon has the distinction of achieving ISO 9001:2008
and ISO 14001:2004 certifications.
A positive work-life balance, team spirit, open communication, and positive reinforcement are some of the features that
characterize the work environment at Servokon.
Technical and M anaging Director. Mr. Kamruddin’s technical expertise and extensive experience of more than thirty
years has helped the company scale new heights.
Servokon is a known name in the industry today, please
trace your journey in brief.
Our company, Servokon Systems Ltd got incepted in the year
1995 with a sole motive of providing excellent and reliable
power conditioning solution. Continuously expanding our
spectrum at global market place with our quality power
conditioning products we have been growing remarkably
since inception. With an ISO certification, Servokon is
growing at a fast pace in developing power conditioning
equipments for its clients. We started with an original and
innovative approach for manufacturing a modular range of
power conditioning equipments. Today, we are known name
in the power conditioning and UPS industry.
Any new launches as the season is approaching?
We are all set to launch a wide range of products in the
approaching season. We continue our commitment towards
innovation and strive to provide our customers with products
that meet and even exceed their expectations
What is the Impact of GST on electrical industry?
From manufacturers to the end consumers GST has the
concept of seamless flow of input tax credit across the supply
chain which include fabricators, assemblers, dealers and
distributers, and so the overall impact of GST is negligible.
What are the main challenges that the industry is facing
and what solution do you suggest?
Ans: The distribution transformer manufacturing segment is
poised for fast paced growth despite some challenges in its
way. The most pressing issue faced by the manufacturers is
to obtain dual certification of BEE and BIS from two different
authorities. As one of the leading manufacturers and
exporters of Power Conditioning Products in the Industry,
Servokon, remains committed to complying with all applicable
consumer protection initiatives and safety standards through
rigorous safety assessment and a series of tests for energy
efficiency of all our products including the distribution
transformers before they are placed on the market. We believe
maintenance of a satisfactory level of quality is essential for
any brand to achieve commendable success. The BEE and
BIS certifications are also helpful in applying quality control
measures and offering advantages such as improvement in
the brand image, facilitation of standardization and cutting
down costs by avoiding defective production. Simultaneously
they make the companies competitive by helping in accurate
prediction of costs involved. Moreover, these certifications
become helpful in selling the products in highly competitive
international markets where quality assurance is a must. The
only point of concern for the industry is the unavailability of a
single window for obtaining these certifications at one place.
Today companies are judged on their products as well
as after sales service, how is Servokon prepared for this,
what your strategies and plans?
Servokon has already embarked on a strategic plan to
strengthen its network pan-India to provide seamless
after-sales services and on time maintenance to its valued
customers. We already have strong dealers and distributors
network to meet the growing requirement. Simultaneously,
we are also running a nationwide campaign currently to
appoint more and more dealers and distributors pan-India.
Recently we held a mega dealers’ meet at Jammu and received
tremendous response. More than 250 Servokon dealers and
distributors from the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) had
thronged the venue to witness amazing growth streak of
Servokon.
