Cover Story The Japan-based company ‘Piolax’ had also the history of manufacturing parts primarily for the automotive industry that dated back to the 1930s. In keeping with its philosophy, the company had set up a production division in the southeastern part of the United States in the 1980s, when a key automotive customer moved a portion of its production centers to that area. The plant completed its third expansion in 2001, increasing the facility by 30,000 square feet and this division was employing a total number of about 350 people including the temporary employees. We saw that the innovations that involved years (say about a century) of research and developmentsaround the globe, have now become reality and are being used worldwide, being accepted as the most convenient and accurate mediums for many businesses. However, it is an expensive process which also has chances of failure, and it also requires a certain environment (temperature, material, platform, architecture etc.) that involves a high level of programming and design to implement the system effectively. The ever-changing technological advancement has created a space for automation to meet the developmental needs of the society. From Manufacturing Industries to Infrastructure Buildings, they are reliant on robotics. Enhanced economic growth can be witnessed in nations worldwide. Robotic Automation has a Graphical User Interface system which is easy,interactive, simple to access and use as it can be controlled and used from anywhere and everywhere by simple handheld device or a remote. It’s information is secure and works on a set of protocols. It can be created according to the environment robots will require to perform tasks in. Adopting Robotics requires the understanding of its operation to avoid complexities and undesirable results. It involves a high level of maintenance and updating from time to time to upgrade it tools according to the current requirement as technologies change from time to time so the software needs to be regularly checked if it has become obsolete or cannot perform tasks as required. This can help in doing a number of tasks in one go, which is hassle free, and the events are recorded in the database for future reference or identification of an error. Robotics are highly efficient and take less time as compared to humans. Society has benefited as there is more production that leads to reduced cost on the other hand less manpower is required so the service cost is minimized.
