Paula Gagnon
PAULA GAGNON
ERROL – Paula Gagnon , 72 , of Errol passed away at her home on Friday June 9 , 2017 . She was born in Portland , Maine on May 21 , 1945 the daughter of Paul and Iola ( Sweatt ) Sausville .
Paula grew up in Errol , attending the Errol Schools and graduating from Berlin High School . She attended New Hampshire Hospital School of Nursing graduating in 1966 . She served in the United States Army Nurses Corps being honorably discharged in 1970 . She worked as a nurse for many years , including working in Houston Texas at the Houston Medical Center and working on the team of Dr . Padaki who was a pioneer in heart surgery . She returned to New Hampshire working for several facilities throughout Coos County , most recently AVH Home Health & Hospice Services , prior to her retirement . Paula had a passion for nursing and also enjoyed camping with her late husband and was an avid NASCAR fan .
Paula is survived by many cousins and friends too numerous to list . She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Roland Gagnon .
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 13 , 2017 at 1 p . m . the Errol Congregational Church with interment to follow in Errol Village Cemetery . There will be no calling hours . Wayne O . Haynes
WAYNE O . HAYNES LAKELAND , Fla .– Wayne O .
Haynes , 81 , passed away Satur-
day morning , June 3 , 2017 , at his home , after a long illness .
Haynes was born in Pittsburg on Feb . 12 , 1936 , the ninth of ten children of Stewart and Hazel ( Danforth ) Haynes .
Wayne was raised in Pittsburg and in 1958 he served two years active duty in the US Army and four years with the Army Reserves . He was a long time North Country resident having lived in towns including Errol , Colebrook and North Stratford . For his entire life he worked as a truck driver . In his earlier years he drove log trucks for Burton Hall and his brother Warren Haynes . Later in his career he was a long haul driver for St . Johnsbury Trucking . He enjoyed traveling , dancing , bowling and visiting with family and friends . For many years he had a summer residence on Lake Winnipesaukee . Wayne will be remembered by many as a thoughtful and caring man . He was a member of the Teamsters Local 633 .
Surviving family members include his wife Judith ( Steele ) Haynes of Lakeland , Fla .; his children , Kim Plumley of Clarksville , Susan Brown of Arcadia , Michigan ; Robbie Haynes of Spokane , Wa .; Kelly Connelly of Wyoming , Bobby Weir of Center Barnstead ; Shane Weir of Raymore , Missouri ; ten grandchildren ; four great-grandchildren ; two sisters , Majel Hawes of Pittsburg , Beverly Jenkins and husband Barry of Colebrook ; many nieces and nephews ; and a two adopted daughters of his heart , Vanessa Morrow and Linda Brunelle .
Many years ago Wayne lost his first wife , Donna Travers of Errol , to leukemia . He was also predeceased by his sisters , Ramona Bilski , Glendowin Bunnell , Rowena Hann , Waneta Thibeault and his brothers Warren , Bradley and Keith Haynes .
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning , Aug . 5 , at 11 a . m . at St . Pius X Church in Errol . Reverend Craig Cheney , pastor , will officiate . Burial with military honors will follow in the Errol Cemetery .

SUGAR HILL – Steven Mark “ Whitey ” Young , 59 , of Sugar Hill died peacefully at his sister ’ s home in Maidstone on Tuesday , June 13 , 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer .
Steven was born on September 28 , 1957 in Littleton , a son of Mark Albert and Priscilla June ( Lewis ) Young . He was raised and lived most of his life in the North Country .
Steven loved hunting , fishing , four-wheeling , snow-machining and just being outdoors . He was a past member of the Loyal Order of Moose Club in Groveton .
He is survived by his two sons
Alan Young ( Meloni Deangelis ) and Adam Young all of Sugar Hill ; four grandchildren Hunter Young ; Blake Young ; Jadyn Young ; and Brayden Young ; two sisters Debra ( Jesse ) Cardin of Dora , Missouri ; Brenda ( David ) Lovell of Maidstone , Vt .; and one brother Randy ( Wendy ) Young of Dalton ; nieces , nephews , aunts ; uncles and cousins .
Steven was predeceased by his mother Priscilla in 1977 and his father Mark in 2010 .
At Steven ’ s request there will be no public services . A private family only service will be held at a later date . Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton .

Gladys V . Greenlaw
GLADYS V . GREENLAW
NASHUA – Gladys V . Brooks Ricker Greenlaw , 93 , of Nashua , and formerly of Clarksville and Pittsburg , passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday , June 9 , 2017 .
She was born in Pittsburg on Sept . 15 , 1923 , the daughter of the late Francis and Lena ( Potter ) Brooks . She attended the one-room Indian Stream Schoolhouse and later Pittsburg High School .
In 1942 , Gladys married Raymond Ricker of Clarksville and together they operated a farm on Clarksville Pond Road until Raymond ’ s death in 1976 . Gladys carried on running the farm until 1979 when she sold the livestock and machinery . She sold the farm itself in 1987 . Gladys was a member of the Aurora Grange in Pittsburg for more than 60 years . She served on the Clarksville School Board for several terms .
While living in southern N . H ., Gladys married L . Parker in 1981 and resided in Milford until his death in 1996 . Gladys then
