This time of year you’ll often find that where the sweet brackish water of Delacroix and the saltier water of Breton Sound come together just happens to be just about where Stone Island sits. Great water conditions make the area desirable to all fish, predator and prey. The vast amount of structure attracts the bait, the bait attract fish, and of course, the fish attract anglers like you and me. This pattern has taken place on Stone Island and other similar islands and reefs in the area for decades, if not more, and continues today.
