Fishing has been on fire lately . There are fish everywhere and the weather has let us get to them on most days . We are finding them all over the lakes and bays . Fish them around the interior islands and structures in the lakes . Places like Northwest , Fornation Islands , Phil-O- Bruce and all the way to Cassette and Brush Island . Fourchon , Timbalier and Grand Isle on the beach are holding some good numbers of really nice trout . Plastic under a cork , Matrix Shad has been the bait of choice and some VUDO style shrimp baits have been working well to . Although I would not leave the dock without live shrimp this month because some days that &# 39 ; s going to be all they want . Redfish this month will be caught along the grass in the same areas and in the ponds of the marsh . You should not have a problem putting together a nice box of fish this month .
