Replace the skewers. Place a
piece of tape under each dot.
Fold the tape over to secure
the skewers.

For the tail, cut strips from
the plastic bag and tie together
to make one strip
2’-3’ long. Tie the tail to
the bottom of the vertical
skewer.

Flip the kite over to the
front. Cut a small hole in
the plastic where the skewers
cross. Cut a piece of
thread 7-8” long and feed
the ends through the hole
on the front of the kite.
Leave a 1”-2” loop on the
front of your kite (you may want to secure the loop with a piece of
tape so you don’t pull it through).
Flip the kite over to the back. Wrap both pieces
of thread around the middle of the two skewers
a few times. Tie the pieces together in a knot.
Flip the kite over to the front. Find your loop.
Using the spool of thread, feed the end through
your loop and make a few knots. Trim the excess
thread. You are now ready for flight!
