GLENVIEW COMMUNITY
ICE CENTER
It’s been an exciting few months
at the Glenview Community Ice
Center as the renovation continues
to progress! The new Studio Rink
and NHL Rink concrete slabs have
been poured, set and are ready for
dasher board and glass installations.
Hockey, Figure Skating and Sled
Hockey silhouettes have been
applied to the translucent panels in
Rink A and the fireplace sculpture
generously donated by the Glenview
Park Foundation is preparing for a
late July installation.

Exterior and interior finishes on
site continue to advance as well.
Concrete was poured outside for
walkways and curbs around the
building and in the parking lot,
exterior siding work has been
completed and all exterior and
interior glass work has been
installed. Inside the facility,
spectator seating, wall finishes,
wood flooring, bathroom tile and
partitions, water fountains, rubber
flooring, turf flooring and more have
been installed in the last few months
to really start to show the building’s
character and capabilities. Also, our
first new Zamboni was delivered in
June all the way from California!
