Recreational boating is a wonderful way to exercise, enjoy nature,
relax and spend time with friends and family. The Glenview Park
District is excited to provide opportunities for non-motorized
boating on Lake Glenview.

Please follow these important rules to enjoy your time on the water.
• Kayaks, canoes, paddle and row boats are permitted. (No motorized water craft, sailboats or paddle boards are allowed.)
• Enter and exit the water from the boat launch only.
• Properly fitting life jackets must be worn at all times.
• Children under 13 must be accompanied on the water by an adult, 18 or older.
• Illinois Department of Natural Resources Water Usage Stamp and Glenview Park District boating permit are required.
Permits are available at Park Center. Permit Fee per boat: $30 Residents/$45 Nonresidents
• Do not feed or disturb wildlife, especially breeding or nesting birds or adult animals with young.
• Boating on Lake Glenview is unsupervised and done at your own risk.
• Additional boating rules and map are posted at the boat launch and online at glenviewparks.org/boating.
