Wednesday the 28th was English
day, starting with Hunter in Hand
and followed by the Dressage and
Hack. After a great turn out of
English horses, the Hunter Under
Saddle Classes were in the afternoon
and Hunt Seat Equitations didn’t
finish until the evening. Due to a long
day, the Western Pleasure Features
were postponed until Thursday.
After the rest of the Trail Classes on
Thursday the four Western Pleasure
Features began. Mr Expensive and
Cherril Sheehan received the buckle
sponsored by Breakoday, the garland
sponsored by Image Performance

Horse N Rider for the Open Walk
Jog Feature. MTC Easy Tiger and
Megan Richards received the

Thursday evening’s Open Barrel
Race Feature event was a bitter
sweet one. A long time supporter of
the club Jess Voss, an avid Barrel
Racer, was involved in a fatal car
accident the Friday before the
show started. Family members
and friends rode Jess’s runs in the
event in memory of her. The turn
out of spectators that night was
amazing. Winning the Open Barrel
Race Feature was Docs Hoochy and
Hanna Andersen; buckle sponsored
by Stockmans Trailers, garland
sponsored by Oak Valley Quarter
Horses and rug sponsored by
Extreme Quarter Horses.
