As financial deficits grow, so does the endless pit of empty promises. As academic progress is stifled, creativity is snuffed out until it no longer exists. Once a proud symbol of American innovation and production, Metro-Detroit now produces a thirty-five percent drop-out rate. The business community may be on the rise, but the school community continues to sink into despair. The people of Metro-Detroit continue to hope, wonder, and wait. Will change ever come?
