them, the answer was amazing.
John explained, “There is no
better example of complete
transformation than a butterfly.
You have the caterpillar that
goes into a cocoon of it’s own
making, only to emerge as
a beautiful butterfly. As that
caterpillar breaks from its shell,
it is very much like a quantum
moment. The caterpillar, no
longer crawling along on legs,
now flying as one of the most
beautiful creatures on earth,
realizes that ‘I am much more
than I thought I was.’”
“Much like human beings,
we participate in creating
problems that can be, at
times, debilitating. We go
through trials and tribulations
only to break through the
cocoon coming out the other
side as a butterfly, knowing
and believing that we can do
anything.”
John and Carrie have many
inspiring guests on their
show that exemplify just that.
Each guest is asked within
the interview what his or her
butterfly moment is. “Some
people know their butterfly
moments right away, some have
to think about it, and some have
several,” Carrie comments.
“Butterfly moments are those
times that you say, I can do this,
I can do anything.”
A contributing factor to John
and Carrie’s radio show is
to help others to see that
their butterfly moments, no
matter how small, are a huge
contribution to making a
positive shift in the world today.
