We are encouraging participants to use area farmers markets
to obtain fresh produce for their recipes if possible.

Challenge Criteria:
Must have or be working towards having a healthy eating policy with Activate Allen County
Up to 15 ingredients
At least 1 cup of fresh vegetables or fruits must be used
Bonus points for more fresh produce in the recipe
Must include a recipe with a breakdown of calories, fat, saturated fat, sugar, sodium, etc.
There is no calorie or fat restrictions, but low fat, calorie recipes will be given preference.
Should be a main or side dish.
Dish should be at your facility, business, or organization on judging day for tasting.
Team and individual entries are allowed, however no more than 3 entries (recipes) per location.
Judging: Wednesday August 13th
Judging will take place throughout the day, you will be informed when the judges will be at your
location.
Judging based on taste, overall nutrition value, use of fresh produce and following all other criteria
above.
Top 3 recipes will be awarded as winner.
