John “Paradise Lost” Milton did us another favor with his works, though he did borrow heavily from other traditions and authors.

Apparently Satan did not have internet identity theft protection. (And why not I ask? - it's only pennies a day!)Remember Jack Chick comic book tracts? Fear mongers of his ilk used identity theft of the name of Satan with horrible tales of the evil wickedness of watching “Bewitched“, and “Dark Shadows” (Yes they really did!) and other cautionary tales of good kids gone bad.

And let’s not forget “Dungeons and Drag-Queens” I mean “Dungeons and Dragons” (The Devil made me do that too. See what a lot of mileage you can get out of one really effective bad guy?)

Granted we owe a lot to Him. However- If I may point out: He owes his notoriety to the writers like Dante Alighieri- afore-mentioned author of The Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso.

And lets not forget "South Park, the Movie".

All people giving him credit were not all bad. Some used his name and did very well. Take Justin Beiber doing the Donny Osmond circa 1972 redo. He did not invent this. Anton Szandor LaVey did great using his “Ming the Merciless" look!
