Ivy Lieberman commented “We have the will to overcome evil, but it is with us because we are human.” Since we were focused on human’s role in evil, ReeNee told the readers and audience about the work of M. Scott Peck, and his book People of the Lie. In the book he describes evil people and totally narcissistic and filled with hubris.

The next question was: Can you be evil and not be aware that you are evil?

The cards pulled were interesting. Beth Palladino mentions that she was getting a lot of Wands and Pentacles. She read this as an excess of energy and concern for worldly gain. Dax noticed that we were getting a lot of 5’s and 8’s. Numerologically, this has the same dynamic. So, is our concern for materialism driving the spread of evil? Are all the things we hear about the uber-rich trying to buy governments accurate? Can you put on a face of kindness and goodness while you destroy people? Beth did end this question with this comment “I believe that the reversals point out that even apparent the apparent innocence of the Page isn't real. The totally evil person knows deep down inside [that they are evil].”
