Bergsma gives these instructions: This is a direct card reading. If any cards turn up reversed, align them in the upright position before reading them. Before you draw your first card, ask the question “Who will help me, who stands beside me and gives me strength?”
1.Face East and ask, “Who sits in the East?” Draw your card and place it in the East. This is your card of new beginnings.
2.Turn and face South. Ask, “Who helps me, who is beside me?” Draw another card and place it in the southern direction. This is your card of personal power and strength.
3.Turn and face the West. Ask, “Who helps me and who is in the West?” Draw your third card and place it in the West. This is your card of manifestation and flow.
4.Turn and face the North. Ask, “Who will help, and walk beside me?” Draw your card and place it in the North. This is the card of your place in the world.
5.Finally, turn to the East. Close your eyes and ask “Who is within me and gives me guidance?” Draw your card. This is your card of the Spirit within. You have invoked and created a Magical Wheel. These energies have chosen you and you have chosen them. Write them down with your notes and feelings about them. They walk beside you and are within you.
