And so, we should not fear the Devil card when it turns up in our readings or our lives. We should study why it has turned up, and what message it is trying to convey. What are we doing to ourselves, or to others that we need to change and correct.
On the flip side, though, sometimes being a little bit “devilish” can be fun—as long as it is in fun, and not at the expense of hurting yourself or another. We often see television commercials or cartoons with an angel on one shoulder, and a devil on the other—one telling us to make the right decision, and the other telling us to have fun being bad. Lighten up---have a little fun sometimes—let that inner devil out once in a while, because, after all, we are all human!
