What course are you studying and what year are you in ? I ’ m currently doing my Foundation Diploma in Art & Design ( 3D pathway ) at Ravensbourne . What did you expect from your course and what do you hope to achieve ? I didn ’ t really know what to expect , especially after a gap year . It took a while to get back into the system of education but I ’ ve managed to experiment well , and develop my portfolio . I hope to achieve recognition from the design world in the near future . What do you plan to do once you have graduated ? I ’ m currently unsure about studying a BA , but if I do I would like to start my own business while studying product design . Have you done internships and / or work experience related to your studies and do you think they ’ ve made a big impact on your outlook or ideas about your chosen industry ? I ’ ve looked but without particular experience in certain programs I guess I was overlooked . Luckily I ’ ve got those skills now so I might be able to do some over summer . If anything was possible , where would you be in 10 years ? I would like to be a common name in worldwide modern design culture , have 2 dogs , a beach house , and be financially stable enough to travel the world . What is your work motto ? I don ’ t really have a motto I just try to keep up my work rate . Bxnjamin – In my spare time I go by the name ‘ Bxnjamin ’ magically pronounced “ Benjamin ”) as a musician . I recorded my first mixtape ‘ The Moon-Rose ’ with a headset in my bedroom , and I have a new project literally about to drop in the next month which I ’ ve been recording with this sexy new mic of mine ( keep an eye out ). It ’ s all new to me but I ’ ve found the whole experience really refreshing and natural . I was recently flown out to Germany with two of my friends to record some tracks for the german producer Twit One ’ s LP , and I ’ ve got a worldwide tour coming up starting next month … Just joking . It ’ s all really strange because I never saw myself as a performer or as any kind of centre of attention , but I ’ ve started performing recently , my first gig supporting Tempa T in the 02 ( for the Ravensbourne ReFreshers event ) followed by one in Brixton . Any events I do I ’ m supported by my DJ Chris P Cuts , and I rehearse regularly at my studio in Waterloo .
