What course are you studying and what year are you in ? Currently studying Motion Graphics , finishing my first year at Ravensbourne .
What did you expect from your course and what do you hope to achieve ? I expected to expand my design and technical skills and become a more conceptual thinker , developing the ability to narrate a story through design .
What are your next steps if you are in year 3 and if you ' re in any other year what do you hope to do when you graduate ? My ambitions after graduating are still unclear as I ’ m torn between a love for advertising and branding !
Have you done internships and / or work experience related to your studies and do you think they ' ve made a big impact on your outlook or ideas about your chosen industry ? I worked at a PR firm called Fever PR last summer , where I was exposed to a glimpse of the industry , and that small taste of it made me hungry for more ! Being in a creative environment , working alongside a team , and being involved in amazing projects , photo shoots and dealing with clients , was experience that has made me more eager to pursue a career in the industry .
If anything was possible , where would you be in 10 years ? In 10 years , I dream to be working internationally , being exposed to new environments , new people , and sourcing new inspiration . Being able to work with creative individuals from across the world would be amazing .
What is your work motto ? ‘ Never say you will do it tomorrow … because someone else will have done it by then .’ ‘ Stray away from your comfort zone , and stay uncomfortable , it keeps you on your toes .’
